At Monkey Puzzle Woodford, pre-school children are welcomed from the age of three to five years old. All our staff are trained and qualified to support your child’s education all the way through to them joining school. Not only this, but every child’s development at our nursery is underpinned by the Early Years Foundation Stage. This is the framework that your child will be assessed under in their first year at school. We have also carefully weaved development into your child’s play each and every day.

Moreover, as a stepping stone towards school experience, your child will be one of eight assigned to an educator each day. This key person will be your child’s advocate and also your main point of contact for your child’s care and development.

Additionally, pre-school children experience rooms that enable holistic play. In other words, children themselves create fun scenarios and activities that likely require skills such as the writing of lists. Other examples include the creation of props, assigning of roles, counting and estimating, with lots of talking and movement. The sounds of pre-school children learning through play are magical! While pre-school children are learning through play, our educators encourage learning through asking questions, prompting reflection and supporting problem solving.

We like to keep things as simple as possible and look to provide predictability and stability for families. Thus, we avoid confusing multi-tier fee structures and hidden costs. Similarly, charges are always for the month in advance and you will be invoiced monthly through our convenient ‘paperless’ system. In other words, this is done through our Famly app.

The fees below include all meals, snacks, and drinks throughout the day, including milk formula. They also include nappies, wipes, and creams. Moreover, there are no additional charges within the fees below. This includes the various activities that take place at the nursery such as extra-curricular sessions, trips, and experience days. It’s all-inclusive!

Monthly fees shown are calculated on Full Days – *Twilight Discount of 5% applied.

Twilight Discount is applied where your booking pattern includes your child attending 3 or more afternoon sessions.
