Hello. I’m Nosh and I am the Nursery Manager at Monkey Puzzle Woodford. My team and I are dedicated to giving every child the best start in life by caring for and supporting them to play, learn and grow in a positive and stimulating nursery environment.

A member of the Petite Production team visits Monkey Puzzle Woodford on a weekly basis to provide engaging learning through play sessions that follows the EYFS framework and compliments the ongoing work of our Nursery Practitioners who they work alongside.

The nursery is great, a lovely big space with lots of light and an incredible garden. It's always spotless! The place is secure but efficient for parents to come and go. Parking is great too. Staff are brilliant, helpful, caring and intuitive.

The team at Monkey Puzzle have been amazing with our son since he joined last year). The staff all know our little boy's likes and dislikes and they genuinely care. The nursery itself is also beautifully arranged, with the with the best outdoor space I have ever seen for a nursery.

Rosh Hashanah is the New Year in Judaism. On Rosh Hashanah, people all over the world celebrate the creation of the world and the opportunity for a fresh start.

This celebration always takes place on the 1st and 2nd of Tishrei, which is the 7th month of the Hebrew calendar. Tishrei usually falls in September or October.

As many of you know, Roald Dahl was a British author of popular children`s stories and is considered "one of the greatest storytellers for children of the 20th century".

Here are some of our favourite fun facts about him:

- Roald Dahl would only ever write his books in pencil and on yellow coloured paper
- Roald Dahl’s books were written in a little hut in his garden
- His favourite sweets were chocolate and gobstoppers, as shown in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Introducing Jasmine - Our Apprentice 💫

Jasmine is currently a Level 2 Practitioner, studying her for Level 3 qualification.

Monkey Puzzle Woodford`s apprenticeship programme provides you with on-the-job training and qualifications, giving you the ability to be a permanent member of our team on a paid working contract whilst obtaining early years qualifications from levels 2 to 5.

Jasmine says that she feels supported at Monkey Puzzle Woodford as she has access to our internal training platform, which allows her to further her knowledge.

We asked Jasmine what her advice would be to anyone looking to become an Early Years apprentice and she said:

"If someone is looking to become an Early Years Apprentice, I would say consistency and dedication are critical when completing your course and don’t be afraid to ask for help! Good luck ❤️"

Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Woodford, is proudly located in the heart of Woodford in the IG8 postal sector. The nursery is on Snakes Lane W, opposite the Woodford Green Preparatory School and just down the road from Woodford Fire Station. This makes us well located for serving families in the London Borough of Redbridge.
