Coming from a big family, I’ve always had a natural connection with children, which is why I love being part of a busy early years environment as a Nursery Assistant at Monkey Puzzle Woodford. I enjoy getting to know each child, helping them feel happy and comfortable, and making their day fun, positive and engaging. Previously, I was working at Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, where I helped secure engaging stories for their biggest project to date, the Children’s Cancer Centre. One of the things I look forward to most in my job is those little moments when a child realises “I can do it myself!” I’m always eager to support children as they grow in confidence, try new things and develop new skills.
